What if I want to spend less than the lowest price listed?
Custom builds are generally not worth the money at lower price points unless you build it yourself. Prebuilt boxes are a better value than custom builds in the lower price ranges. For that reason, we do not offer them.
Go to Costco or your favorite major PC brand website (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, etc) and buy a prebuilt PC.
What if I want to spend more than the maximum price listed?
At this price point, surely you want to pick your own components because you have a very specific need in mind. The difference in performance between our top end and anything more expensive is marginal at best, and it’s just not worth the money.
I am an average PC user who just wants a fairly future proof build. How much should I spend?
Our low-end PC is fine for you. It is more than you need today. It will be an average computer in 4 years. It will need replacing in 8 years.
I am a gamer. How much should I spend?
Amateur gamers should select a PC in the middle of the line.
Serious gamers should go high-end (one of the two highest price points).
Professional gamers should pick their own parts, work with their sponsors, and spend more than our high-end. If you are a pro gamer and want a custom gaming build, we can accommodate you, but you will have to contact us to start that conversation.
I am a streamer. How much should I spend?
Go middle- to high- end. Remember you will need a capture card and other additional hardware, so consider that in your budget. The PC we build will not have specialty components, such as capture cards.
